Assignment:
Analyze the stories using Formalism, Structuralism, Gender Studies AND Post-Colonial/Critical Race Theory.  For each approach, include a quote from the text and analyze it.
1.  Using formalism, analyze one of the stories that we read and find one element in the text to analyze using the formalist method.
2.  Using structuralism, analyze one of the stories that we read for and find one element in the text to analyze using the structuralist method.
3.  Using Gender and Queer Theory (or Feminism), analyze one of the stories we read for and find one element in the text to analyze using the method by answering one question from the handout.
4.  Using Post-Colonial and Critical Race Theory, analyze one of the stories we read and find one element in the text to analyze using the method by answering one question from the handout.
