1. This is a Qualitative research paper.
2. Most of the work has been completed (see attached assignments) you will have to put them on order and add more substance…Please follow the Rubric
3. Please follow the attached grading Rubric (It’s very detailed)
4. There will be NO focus groups or in-person interactions
5. Stick to the 3 A’s – anonymous, archival (already exists), and adult for data collection, it is much easier.
6. You can use work in all the attached assignments to complete this chapter you will have to put them in order following the Rubric.
7. All research should be no older than 5 years old.
8. For sampling (wk 3 assignment) please change to Florida data
9. If you see short areas please add more substance…the chapter was pre-complete to give a jump start so more research and data is needed.
10. Because most of the work has been completed you can copy and paste what has been done including the references. I paid for 8 additional pages to give an opportunity to add more details and substance to this chapter.

Instructions
Chapter 3 is where you explain what you will study and how you plan to do so. Your research questions and methodology are included here. As with chapters 1 and 2, go back to your topic paper. You have a “mini” discussion of the research methods started there. Use that as your starting point and begin expanding it. Be detailed and specific. Also, follow the DJC Dissertation Template.
In DCJ 720 (Qualitative Research Methods), DCJ 700 (Action Research) and DCJ 735 (Quantitative Research Methods) you learned various methods and statistics that may be used in your research. If you have retained the topic you used in one or more of those classes Use what you did in those classes to aid you in writing Chapter 3.
The DCJ research Template explains in more detail the following areas that should be addressed in Chapter 3:
Research Methods and Design(s)
Population and study population
Sample
Materials/Instruments
Variables- Define i.e.: Quantitative/Mixed Method Studies only
What are the limitations of the study?
Ethical Understanding
Data Collection, Processing and the Analysis
What are the Assumptions?
Summary
Again, this is a daunting task, but you have developed the foundation for this in your topic paper.
Finally remember that if you can stick to the 3 A’s – anonymous, archival (already exists), and adult for data collection, it is much easier. Keep your study narrow and focused.
