The paper should be at least eight (8) and no more than ten (10) pages in length (the
bibliography is not counted), typed, 1.5-spaced, in 12 pt. regular font with at least one-inch
margins on all sides. Please include page numbers.
Sources of Research Paper
Use any course readings and at least eight (8) outside sources addressing your topic. Outside
sources should include at least five (5) scholarly references (e.g., books, journal articles, book
chapters). Feel free to use course readings and popular sources, such as magazine and newspaper
articles, Websites, and videos that directly relate to your research topic.
All references should be properly cited in the bibliography. Follow ASA format guidelines to
cite the references. See ASA Style Guide (p. 43-53) available on Canvas (under Files).
Proof-read your paper and have it read by a colleague for comments and revisions before
turning in the final draft.
