Evaluate the impact of calling

Develop a plan for personal spiritual formation.
Evaluate the impact of calling upon your personal and organizational leadership philosophy and
practices.
Paper length-7 pages. The title and reference pages are not counted in the page count guidelines. This
may be written in first or third person. First person is preferred.
In this assignment, you will consider the spiritual dimension within your various personal and
professional leader roles. Because personal reflection requires both quantity and quality of time, this
assignment will be most profitable if you follow the reading schedule in the syllabus.
The discussion should provide convincing evidence that you have thoughtfully reflected upon the
content in Barton and the implications for your leadership. Articles from other scholarly journals may
be used to support your discussion.
The discussion should be written in prose style using first or third person. Please do not use a question-
and-answer format with short bursts of thought. Respond to the following questions found on pages

Expectations for on-line forum participation – The forums are an essential part of the course.
The topic for each forum will be posted and the forum opened at Sunday noon. A substantive initial
response to the question(s) must be posted by Wednesday (minimum-300 words). Each student is
expected to initiate or respond to two peers (minimum-125 words each) by Sunday of that week. Read
each posting, reflect on it, and make appropriate responses.
A student is allowed one (1) forum absence per course. Points for a missed forum cannot be made up
through additional work. Failure to participate in two forums will result in an F for the course.
Initial posts should demonstrate careful analysis, thoughtful reflection, and appropriate support through
scholarly, APA-compliant citations. Responses to peers should clarify the issues through carefully
