YOUR RESPONSES MUST REFLECT AND PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF LEARNING INFORMATION DISCUSSED IN THE AUDIO LECTURES BY DIRECTLY REFERRING TO THEM. ANY READINGS REFERRED TO MUST COME FROM THE WILBURN TEXT, NOT OTHER/OUTSIDE SOURCES. ANSWER ALL PARTS OF THIS DISCUSSION IN SEPARATE PARAGRAPHS.
PRECISE READINGS ARE INDICATED IN OUR HOME PAGE FOR EACH SECTION (you may also find the optional videos posted in the Announcements area helpful as well), ANSWER THE FOLLOWING IN YOUR OWN WORDS (Suggested Length: 300-500 words).
1.) Discuss any one idea within Kant and any one idea within Rousseau (one for each=two total). Explain who you agree with most and why.
2. ) Discuss any one idea within Smith and any one idea within Marx (one for each=two total).. Explain who you agree with and why.
3.) Discuss any one idea within Nozick and any one idea within Rawls (one for each=two total).. Explain who you agree with and why.
4.) Give evidence of reading about the thinkers or ideas you discuss in this post, by discussing any 2 of the readings about or by any of them in our Wilbur/Online text for this section that you found interesting (reminder–those specific readings are indicated on the homepage), by briefly identifying the readings you read and discussing at least one idea/issues/information for each reading (at least two total). And briefly tell why you found each reading interesting, and also briefly explain whether you agree or disagree with these ideas. Note: you may substitute one video found in Announcements, for any one of the readings, if you wish.
5.) Finally, please reply to at least two of your fellow students, stating where you agree or disagree and why. NOTE: Replies to fellow students can come AFTER the due dates, which are for your main posts.
