For this week’s discussion, you will be presenting correlation data in video format.
You will present these data in a video presentation using PowerPoint or similar. Create a presentation with a video representation of the data showing the positive correlation in one and the negative correlation in another. Feel free to use the provided PowerPoint as a guide for building your presentation. To record your video it is expected that your presentation be full screen and your face be present in a “presenter pop-out screen”. There are multiple ways to do this, but recording a Zoom video/meeting is one simple way (see included videos for helpful tutorials). The presentations should be 2-3 minutes in length.
Develop an example of two variables that are correlated in a strong and positive direction and two that are correlated in a strong and negative direction. You aren’t required to provide a research article to support these relationships but you are welcome to if you choose.
Present the data in a visual (plot) format and comment on any other factors that could influence their relationship and what can and cannot be inferred from these correlations. Excel is a simple place to create these visuals.
Record yourself presenting the data using PowerPoint (or similar).
Embed the video into a new discussion thread, using your topic of choice as the title of your thread. Each example should be unique, so topics are first come first served.
