· June a 26 y/o female presents to the urgent care where you are one of the providers today. The MA reports to you June was hiking and tripped over a rock and states she rolled her left ankle. She is not able to bear weight on the left foot, she borrowed a friends crutches to get around and the ankle is pretty swollen with bruising present on the outer part of the ankle. The injury happened about 48 hrs ago. Pt pain is 7/10.
· PMH: Exercise induced asthma
· Allergies: PCN
· Meds: Vit C, Mens Multivitamin
· Soc Hx: Never smoked, 3-4 beers/wine on the weekend, occasional cannabis use, usually 1 joint maybe x1/month. Works as a barista and is in grad school now for Biochemistry.
