Choose two stories from the assigned reading and compare and contrast the theme of Southern Gothic Literature. You’ll explain how the author develops the theme of Southern Gothic Literature in these stories by illustrating what elements are similar and different between the two stories you select. In other words, explain what elements support the theme of Southern Gothic Literature; or explain how each theme fits into the Southern Gothic literary genre we discussed in the last module.
