Dollar Tree offers $1 products for the extreme discount shopper. Ross offers a wide range in clothing, higher end beauty products and fashion items. The target audience is the everyday discount shopper. I believe that Dollar General stands out by being easily accessible with brick and mortar stores, cheaper options than our higher priced competitors, and a wider variety than our lower priced competitors. Our unique selling would be “When you forgot, Dollar General did not.” This will continue the importance of accessibility and conveince. As well as the word drop of “dollar” that can subconsciously remind you of a cheaper option.”
