On June 29, 2023, the US Supreme Court ended Affirmative Action in College & University admissions. The case was brought to the Supreme Court by a group of Asian-Americans who believed they were discriminated against by Harvard for admission. The Supreme Court sided with the Asian-Americans. Although this decision was focused only on Education & College Admissions, the consequences were a complete review (and dropping of) Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs in the corporate world. In addition, there was a massive increase in Reverse-Discrimination lawsuits brought against corporations claiming their hiring & promotion policies discriminated in favor of minorities and not based on merit.
