The purpose of this assignment is to give you an opportunity to practice critical self-reflection from one of the four lens perspectives. Each module, we will focus on critically reflecting using one lens from Brookfield’s model of critical reflection. In this module, we will reflect through the second lens, student perspective.
Task

Using the second lens of Brookfield’s model, reflection through the eyes of a learner, write a critical journal reflection in which you address the following prompt:
How do your students see your current instructional practices? What areas are strong from their perspective? What areas of your teaching practices do not meet students’ needs from their perspective? What changes will you make in the future to strengthen your teaching practice?
Criteria
Fully analyze and evaluate your current practice through a learner’s lens
Fully develop your ideas, explain the context and provide examples
Propose next steps for professional growth and future teaching practices based on your reflection
Your journal reflection should be approximately 250 to 400 words in length
Cite a minimum of two (2) scholarly sources to support and justify your ideas using APA 7th edition formatting (See APA Tools section for instruction on this)
