Instructions
Groups of 2-3 will jointly research a current controversial topic on an area of human development. Each group will present a 20-30 minute presentation discussing the topic including the following:
a) Definition and description of the chosen applicable lifespan topic (I.e. Theory, or life-stage concept).
b) Discussion of relevant research that is for/in agreement with the topic (at least 3 points of reference).
c) Discussion of relevant research that is against/disagrees with the topic (at least 3 points of reference).
d) Explore and discuss alternative options (with proper reasoning).
e) Discussion of how the selected research supports or conflicts with your personal belief system (I.e. Theology, values, experience, education, etc).
Submit topic for approval on the Discussion board by March 6, 2023 to ensure no other student has chosen the same topic. List the full citation of your articles in the reference slide section of your presentation. The resources that you use must be from reliable and recognized sources that are relevant in the field of psychology or closely related field. WIKIPEDIA is NOT a recognized source.
Please organize your report around the questions below, but use APA format as appropriate (headings, e.g. may not be needed) throughout your presentation. A minimum of 4 sources is required. Each group will also be required to give a 20-30 minute presentation on their topic. The presentation is due 11:59pm on the date of your group’s project presentation.
