For example: you can choose a specific topic from one of our sessions, or you can choose to address broader issues that connect multiple themes from our course, for example: Race, class and gender in women’s health rights or ‘feminist’ representation of women in social media, or women’s legal rights etc.; Or, you can also choose something specific and relevant (like, Feminists movement for abortion rights/land rights in a specific country/region etc.). But whatever you choose, you need to base your research on the learnings from this course, by using topics/themes from our sessions.
Structure of the Proposal: Guideline

TOPIC SELECTED:
Discuss how healthcare systems historically focused on the male sexuality, leading to gaps in understanding the biological women’s body and how sex and gender both play a role in the gaps. In terms of sex, biological mens bodies have been studied more throughly than a biological women’s. In terms of gender, a women’s health, is not inclusive of transgender women as they are still portrayed as a biological male in the perspective of the health care system, therefore leading to more gaps in the body of a biological female.
