Do not e-mail outlines or PPT presentations. There are so many students in the online environment that it creates confusion on my end if all documents are not submitted here.
The speech should be 5-7 minutes in length. (minus 3 points for every 15 seconds over/under the time limit).

If you fail to submit an outline at all then 20 points will be deducted from your speech grade. Please note that all outlines become part of the Department of Communication and Journalism’s speech files.

Remember that persuasion usually occurs in small increments. You may not get everyone to commit themselves to your cause, but you might be able to convince them to take a smaller step toward your ultimate goal.
