An initial researched and cited discussion post is recommended by Wednesday about a topic chosen from any of this week’s assigned Modules and followed by at least two researched and cited replies to other class members, or on another new topic, on two different days by Sunday night. Provide complete, well-designed non-repetitive, and substantive (150 words or more) responses in discussion. Posts must be above and beyond the basic material covered in the text. You are expected to read every post in the forum including instructor responses. Research and APA references are necessary for every post (source and citations only). Post a minimum of three (3) meaningful, researched, and cited contributions each week on three different days of the week. The first post is due on Wednesday. Be sure to read the full discussion requirements. You may choose any topic from any Module that is covered this week that interests or excites you.
Requirements:
You must provide a clear thesis statement (the topic you will discuss).
Your post must be at least 150 words or more.
Your post must be clear and concise.
You must properly introduce ALL acronyms prior to first use (example: Random Access Memory (RAM)). From then on you may simply use the acronym.
Your post must be researched from one or more reliable sources (no older than 3 years, less is better) from the Internet and then properly sourced and cited in your post using APA format for sources and citations. No Copy and Paste!
You must use clear grammar and sentence structure, not use slang, and it must stand alone in its content (i.e., no one should have to refer to outside content to understand it).
You may not use the text as a source. Everyone already has that basic information. The purpose of the discussion is to elevate the learning experience by going deeper into the topic.
You may not use sites like Wikipedia, or any dictionary, definition sites (WhatIs, for example), or encyclopedia sites (Technopedia, for example).
You may not use Artificial Intelligence for discussion post responses.
