For this assignment, you will assume the role of a Communication Counselor and create a communication success plan to help a company or organization resolve a team conflict.
Students will create a 3- to 4-page communication success plan that seeks to resolve a conflict between team members.
Imagine you are a Communication Counselor hired by a company or organization of your choice. They have hired you to create a communication success plan to resolve a conflict between team members. The team consists of five diverse members.
Use this Communication Success Plan template to address each of the following:
Provide the name and a short description of the company or organization.
Provide short biographies for each team member.
Provide a short overview of the team’s goal and conflict.
Describe the group’s decision-making and problem-solving processes: Identify where the team is failing in these processes and why.
Identify specific functional roles you would assign to each group member, and explain your rationale.
Discuss diversity and group communication: How can you show the group that their diversity is a strength and not a challenge?
What group activity would you create to inspire team unity?
What communication tools learned about in this course would you recommend to manage the team’s conflict?
Your plan should be at least three but no more than four pages. The title page (if used) and reference page do not count toward this requirement. At least two academic sources are required to support your plan. All sources used must have citations and references properly formatted in APA Style.
