For the midterm assignment you will create an annotated bibliography of your research on your project so far.
Annotated Bibliography:
An annotated bibliography is a References list with annotations:
Begin with a normal APA style references list with the sources in alphabetical order by author. Refer to the Categorized List of Sources assignment from Module 4 and “un-categorize” them so that they are in the proper order for a references page.
After each source, block indent ½ inch from the left margin for your annotation.
The annotation is essentially your “notes” on the source. This is where you will demonstrate your evaluation skills: whether or not the source is useful, trustworthy, etc., or the opposite, or even somewhere in between. Take your time and include any useful evaluative approach or information you have gathered on the source as well as any information regarding how you would use it. Refer to your Site Reports from Module 3 for details that might be included.
Every source must have an annotation, and the annotations should be written in complete sentences, directly addressing the source above it.
Avoid wordiness: this is a direct, practical document rather than an essay.
Number of Sources:
As with the Categorized List of Sources assignment, the minimum number of sources is eight, which will put the bibliography in the C range. For a higher grade, use more sources. The goal should be to create a practical, comprehensive record of information on your topic.
APA:
Use APA referencing rules when creating your list. For this assignment, your APA formatting of references will be a significant part of the grade.

Template:
Provide here is a sample Annotated Bibliography Template (modified, from Lynn University: http://lynn-library.libguides.com/apa/bib) to give you an idea of the format and the approach. You may download this and overwrite the annotations with your own sources or begin your own document from scratch of with the Microsoft Word tools.
