Good evening all, my name is Breanna Newton and I am so pleased to meet you all! I am excited to be starting this course with you all and gaining more knowledge and skills to increase my writing abilities. Some personally things about me, I am a nineteen year old girl who graduated from Treasure Coast Highschool and came directly to Indian River State College to begin my journey to becoming a travel nurse! I am currently getting my A.A degree and I am hoping to soon after get into a nursing program. Nursing has always played a big part in my life as a bunch of my family members happen to be nurses, especially ones that work in the military and registered nurses! I love reading and writing poetry so I am hoping to gain more skills to increase my poetry. I have a cat named Peanut and four really big pitbulls and their names are Bleu, Ivey, King and Cocoa. I am heavily obsessed with collecting all things Sanrio and I believe I am going to be all decorated with Hello Kitty themed things as a nurse even more than I am now. Last but not least, I love to crochet! I have been corcheting since 2020 when COVID was around and I haven’t stopped since. I started doing it because my therapist recommended it to me when I was really depressed during the lockdown and that is exactly why I haven’t stopped because it keeps me preoccupied and it is fun!
