My field of study is psychology focusing on behavior analysis. My bachelor thesis is a literary review using the PRISMA (2020) method. My thesis question is: What is the current state of knowledge regarding altruistic behaviour as reflected in the existing literature, and what gaps or areas of disagreement exist in the current body of research? Also, in the discussion section of the paper I am planning on comparing my findings on altruism within behaviorism to one specific theory of altruism within social psychology (I haven’t picked one yet, but it of course needs to be relevant to the rest of my paper), in order to make my paper a bit more relevant for the field of psychology as well, not just behavior analysis.
I have already done some of the work, I am adding 3 documents, one of them is what I’ve written so far (the feedback was that I need to write more in depth). the second document has listed all the journals I’ve used for the literary search, including all articles found in the different journals, so my literary review has to use the articles I’ve selected from the given journals. the last document I’ve added is my Prisma flow chart, where all my inclusion and exclusion criteria for each different screening stage is specified. Given that my advisor already has read what I’ve written so far, you need to continue on the work that I have already done, but fix it up a little and check for plagiarism. Also, I have not written it correctly according to APA 7th technical requirements yet. The maximum word limit is 8000, so I’ve made an order here for 6600 words given that I’ve written almost 1000 words in the thesis document I’ve added here. Furthermore, my grades so far has been A and B in every class and on every exam, the lowest grade I will accept is C, so please keep that in mind while writing, it is important in order for me to get accepted into the master’s program I have applied for.
