After you have read the Graff essay, find one aspect of something in your life where your knowledge and expertise outside of the world of college/academics has given you a certain kind of “street smarts” that aids you in some aspect of your life and your ambitions. You must use the reading from our text as a source at least once in the paper, citing it properly.
Your final exam essay should have, as part of the requirements:
A Works Cited page with at least three sources and in-text citations that use EACH source on that page somewhere in the text of your essay with the proper parenthetical citation. One of those sources should be the essay found in our textbook.
Three double-spaced pages of text (not counting the Works Cited page).
