Discuss a specific historical event/period/issue related to the Black experience and its impact on African American freedom

How does this event/period/issue reflect the resilience of Black Americans in their struggle for freedom?

Your essay should be a minimum of 10 double-spaced pages in length (not including the bibliography), and must be in 12pt Times New Roman font or similar. You must use at least 3 different scholarly, peer-reviewed sources for this assignment, not including the books assigned for this class.
