You can round your recurrence intervals to the nearest tenth (for example 3.2 years).
On the graph, please note that the horizontal scale (recurrence interval) does not increase evenly. From 1 to 10 the vertical lines increase by one each (2, 3, 4, etc.). From 10-100 they increase by 10 each (20, 30, etc.). Beyond 100 they increase by 100 each (200, 300, etc.).
Best fit lines are straight lines that show the average trend of the data. Your best fit line needs to extend all the way from the left-hand side of the graph to the right-hand side of the graph as a straight line.
