you will be taken to the “America’s Health Rankings website. The site contains a lot of information about quality of life measures for the United states and each of the 50 states. They have things like high school graduation rates, air pollution, or drug usage.
1. Using the “Explore” tab on the left hand side, find the information I ask for about Texas. Make sure to complete the chart in it’s entirety using the latest available data. You should enter the raw score and the rank in the first column and describe what the trend has been in the second column. Some data is only available in the 2019 report so you will have to search to find the correct data and the most recent year.
2. Then pick one state that begins with the first letter of your last name(A) Fill in that state’s name at the top of the third and fourth columns and find the raw score and rank for that state and enter it into the third column. If no state begins with the first letter of your last name use the second. If no state begins with the second, use the third and so on.
3. Compare how Texas does with the other state you are tasked with looking at and describe the comparison in the fourth column.
4. Finally, find the raw score for the United States as a whole and enter it in the fifth column.
5. Then compare Texas with the United States in the sixth column.
